My Approach:
As an integrative therapist, my approach draws from multiple therapeutic approaches, including psychodynamic, person-centred, and cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), allowing me to tailor my approach to suit your individual needs.
At the heart of my approach is genuine empathy and compassion. I believe the client-therapist relationship plays a vital role in the therapeutic process, so my priority is to develop a relationship with you in which you feel heard, feel seen, and feel safe. I also believe therapy should be a collaborative process, where your goals and wishes are respected, and where we work together at a pace you feel comfortable with, regularly reviewing how you are finding the therapeutic process.

My Experience:
Following a career working in addiction treatment and eating disorder treatment, I retrained as an integrative counsellor/psychotherapist. I have since supported clients with a wide range of challenges including anxiety, bereavement, low self-esteem, trauma, and family and relationship issues. I am also experienced in working with eating disorders, using and adapting the Maudsley Model to various presentations of disordered eating and difficult relationships with food.
